Frequently Asked Questions
Bring your dirty or new pistol to class (unloaded and inside a case) and learn how to clean and maintain it. No ammo in the class. Leave it at home or in your car.
Also bring your cleaning equipment including: Solvent or CLP, brushes, cleaning rods, snakes, patches, and lubricant. If you have questions on what cleaning equipment you need to bring contact me at tww.gary@gmail.com
Any service caliber pistols are okay including .22, .380, .357 sig, 9mm, 10mm, .40, .45 and .50 caliber pistols, but no revolvers. If in doubt, contact the instructor.
Clothing appropriate for the weather will be just fine. If this class is held during the cold months of the year we are inside with heat. Some people prefer to wear protective glasses from splashes, but it is generally not needed. Nitrile or latex gloves keep your hands relatively clean.
The instructor will have a limited supply of cleaning products (CLP: cleaner, lubricant, protectant) available for sale as well bore snake, brushes, towels, etc. So, if you come empty handed, you can still participate by purchasing cleaning products!
Please give 48 hours notice for rescheduling if unable to attend. The other option is to transfer the class to another student. There is a minimum student policy for each class. If The Warrior Within (TWW) cancels class due to weather, minimum student policy or any other reason, the student will have the option of rescheduling or getting a full refund. Cancellation is via email: please ensure you register with the correct email. TWW is not responsible for travel or other related expenses.
I think Gary is a great instructor. I was very apprehensive about taking a class because I am handicap and in a wheelchair but Gary made me feel important. Even though I know it was harder on him he made me feel welcome and part of the class. Thank You Gary!!! I learned a lot and recommend this class and teacher.
